Does any other Bucs fan feel like the season hasn't really started yet, since they didn't play?

Or is that just me because I missed Week 1 due to Irma?

It really does feel that way. I feel less excited about the game this week because of it too. That'll probably change when Sunday rolls around.

Man, I've been so loving turned off by everything since last winter.

I thought I'd never love anything again. Then I woke up to the score KC/Pats game and I laughed and laughed... I'm all in, baby.

That + I fired up Destiny 2 this week and GOD drat, life is fun again.

They're 'ok'. Not bad, but not great and most places want more than like $15 for a smallish one. Not worth it to me.

They have real good oysters up here though!

Yeah it's definitely a 'special occasion' / in moderation type of thing.

I made a batch of jambalaya once that actually worked out really well for a macro diet my wife was trying out. It was really good, not quite right for jambalaya (basically had to triple the ratio of vegetables to rice) but it was a good dish.

I was out getting drunk all day and golfing, how did your teams look fellow south goons? Was Tampa that good or Chicago that bad?

Bucs were really good for the first half and coasted through the second. Bears are pretty bad though.

Yeah, I saw you guys jumped up big on them quick. Are you buying in then?

I'm legit nervous about the game tonight. Hard to beat a team as good as the Packers three times in less than a year :ohdear:

1. Overhyped optimism (We are here)
2. Making excuses for slow slide into mediocrity

Seems eerily similar to a Falcon fan cycle tbh lol

I'm not full in but feel a lot better after that game. I was worried about the D but they played well. Cohen/Howard only ran for like 20 yards.

Packers without both starting tackles tonight is pretty big.

We looked fine, but we got bailed out by a lot of mistakes on the Bears' part. We didn't look crisp, for lack of a better word. Maybe that's just first week jitters and now with a win under their belt they'll start clicking more consistently. We certainly have all of the weapons, Jameis threw to literally everyone.

Don't get me wrong, I love that we won and won bigly (big league?) but it was just as much the Bears being awful.

Hey man, in your first game or two a win is all that matters. The ATL/CHI game was much closer, and we really should have lost at the end there but a win is a win. I do know that Atlanta can't make the mental mistakes with penalties and missed tackles against A-Aron like they did against the neck. Sark's play calling is a little worrisome too, hopefully he gets a little more aggressive tonight.

Our missed tackles made Cohen look like Barry freaking Sanders so holding them to 20 is big. They have a good line, too.

I didn't know the Pack was missing both tackles...that's a nice surprise.

The roof is going to be open, it's going to be a playoff atmosphere for a week 2 game.

I blame you for cheering for us. You unbalanced the cosmic karma scales. :argh:

Seriously though, as much as you embrace 28-3, I'd better learn to embrace 7-9. Hell, that might be optimistic considering how they're playing now. Even when the defense sucked, the offense has looked good. Now.....not so much.
