I'm watching the latest dub episode and it's the one after the AfO reveal about exam preparation. So many great little moments in it, Horikoshi's class ranking is so well done. Having Deku so high is great because he should be really smart because he's always trying his hardest at everything. Bakugo being third is wonderful too because it's a reminder he's not just a combat genius and otherwise lunkhead he's a prodigy all around even if he's a catastrophic shithead. I also super love his and Kirishima's budding friendship so many lil bits make it great. When Monoma is taunting 1A they all either stop eating or are grimacing except Todoroki who just keeps eating not a bother on him. He also notices Momo is worried about the practical, I'm not sure if these two moments were in the manga but they were well done if so or superb additions if not.

I listened to this season's soundtrack. Man this series lucked out getting literally everyone it has involved with it. The director is good, the voice cast is good, the character designer is good, the composer is good, the studio in general hasn't really hosed anything up. I hope they get everyone back for S3 since it looks like we're getting it. I wish someone would pick this up for TV in America since it deserves more mainstream success but I dunno if it really fits anywhere. CN wouldn't do what they should do and air it in the afternoon and just deal with anyone complaining about the violence/fanservice, it doesn't really fit Adult Swim IMO, and DisneyXD would mutilate it. When I went to see Guardians of the Galaxy 2 in theaters a few months back, they showed a commercial for the MHA dub during the ads before the trailers. It was neat seeing Deku punch a robot on the big screen.
