That Vietnam war doco is seriously good, I'm only a few eps in though. The pre-war stuff is really fascinating, I never knew the North/South split was such a clusterfuck of bullshit, it's bananas. And all the audio they have of LBJ and other dudes talking about exactly how hosed they are if they send troops, but feeling like they have to anyway

I was pleasantly surprised how many Vietnamese they got in the documentary. Another Ken Burns hit. Well poo poo. Not sure how that happened. Looks like the same thing that brought down the Thunderbird at Mountain Home about 10 years ago, but his error was mixing up AGL/MSL at a base that's 3,000 up. Unless that's a lake, probably something a bit different here.
