It's not just Kojima they chased off but IGA, the talent behind Castlevania too. He left and then went on to create the most successful video game kickstarter at the time for Bloodstained, so now Konami has to deal with two of their big talents taking fans away from the series they once shepherded.

IIRC, Konami's extra hosed because liberalised gambling laws may mean Japanese gamblers can drop the pachinko charade and just go play slots and cards like normal people? Though knowing the spite levels of Japanese companies, they'll keep all their IP and the Fox Engine in the vault while remaining as an insurance company or something.

Equifax made it so to check if your details had been compromised you had to sign-up with your SSN and details to find out but if you did that you voided all rights to a class action lawsuit against them lol.

Edit for clarity: Valve pulled the games because of the lawsuit. They subpoenaed Valve for the names of 100 users who left negative reviews on the grounds of defamation.
