The mind mugger doesn't love audrey, he's just as smart as Lyndon and knows everything he does.

Yeah, I think the muggers just use the names and vocabulary of the people they've stolen for convenience, but that's all. Trixie's mugger isn't advocating socialism because it believes in it -- it's advocating socialism because it has access to Trixie's knowledge of political theory and knows how to use it to bring down a tyrant.

If that's how it is, I wonder if Lyndon will still know his spell once he's free of the mugger.

Audrey-mugger is very Audrey-y though

I think that tells us more about Audrey's personality than it does the muggers.

That felt like a bit of a cop-out, but he did kinda write himself into a corner there.

Out of the three ways hindsight suggests that that could have gone, this is the middle of the road option. (Mind Muggers chat about who to take over next/eventually; long complicated series of takeovers leading up to an attempt on the god(s) and/or the sun) (Mind Muggers taken out by ???, story continues) (Mind Mugger life cycle examination) Second guessing the author is enjoyable, but a vice.

I love that the mind muggers segment ended so abruptly. They managed to wipe out the whole party but their real enemy was themselves.

209 Watch Trixie and the gang inspire another accidental revolution among the glomachs. Also interesting that Tjombertjam doesn't seem to have a last name like humans, or he'd introduce himself as Tjombertjam Massstarvation or something.

I'm suspicious of this guy. Partly because he makes all these wild claims and even Klara hasn't heard of his species, but mostly because he's Elf Hobo Captain Planet.

Well, the mind mugger that controlled him said the same things, but we've seen Mind Muggers are perfectly capable of lying, so that doesn't actually tell us much. My favorite scenario is that he believes these things, but he's actually just crazy and the place doesn't exist.

Hope he ends up being some low-level guard that can't offer any political access and is just met with a "we wondered what happened to you."

210 Man, the party's not in a great position here. Lyndon doesn't have his spells, Audrey doesn't have her sword, and Klara doesn't have any knowledge of this species. And even worse, she lost her hat.

Gonna laugh when the pacifist spell caster uses mind muggers to bypass the limitations and murders people he needs to.

Pacifism magic only breaks if you harm somebody with your magic. Lyndon's knowledge of magic contributed to the harm, but the actual magic was being done by Lyndon-mugger.
