Lmao - I still know nothing, but if it's something like WWN has been sharing FloSlam user/viewership data with...I dunno, the WWE...Gabe's an even bigger carny than I thought.

So let's see, this week ended or will lead to the end of WCPW, FloSlam, and Gabe. Am I missing anything else? Also there's still two days left in the week

EugeneJ posted:Wait wait wait does this mean we might see paid attendance figures for the past year of WWN shows? I don't think so. How ACW, SHINE and Style Battle combined drew 50 people PAID this weekend. Style Battle drew 5 people paid but going by a fan who was there there were 20 people the crowd.

gently caress Gabe and all but if you brokered a deal assuming Evolve drew 5,000 buys per show you got what you deserved.

He goes on to say that Gabe stiffed him $1k so instead of paying the $1k owed he fucks someone over and gets himself into a million dollar lawsuit

We'll learn wwn was doing under the table illegal tax hell stuff, they won't have the money to pay anything off and it'll get stuck in some court hell and as usual in these things, the WWN talent will get hosed because WWE won't touch them with a 10 foot pole until all of this is over.

I mean, all it takes is like the most modest amount of research possible to figure out which choice was better. Forget the spreadsheets. One has a rich history, can draw several hundred to over a thousand fans, has a weekly TV show to push your service. The other has almost never drawn more than like 250 outside of Mania weekend and has no platform to push their own events outside of Constant Contact emails. If they had that money to give one of the two and chose WWN Live, they're idiots.

Jeremy Botter who used to work for FloSlam and hosed everything up initially went on a rant last night about going Twitter dark. Was all deleted since. If it all goes to Court he will probably be one of the bigger losers reputationally as he was pretty slap dash/gaff prone. sportsgenius86 posted:I mean, all it takes is like the most modest amount of research possible to figure out which choice was better. Yeah, I think a judge would expect a Company to do basic due diligence. You can't just blindly enter into contracts and then claim damages. rovert fucked around with this message at 01:28 on Sep 22, 2017 |
