Yeah, computer science and programming is what we need right now. Maybe 10+ years ago but anyone can program now with a book. I learned Perl (ugh I know), in an intro class (although I took programming classes throughout high school) and no poo poo the instructor told me to drop out of college and work for him. No, that's not tooting my own horn that's saying that anyone who has a knack for it can do it. There are sooooo many programmers right now that are getting lovely pay for doing lovely work that they are far more qualified for. That shouldn't be the focus. Math, engineering, yeah. Renewable energy is loving booming right now and we should probably invest more into that. Basically, gently caress you Ivanka. You're a decade or two too late.
