I mean there's the ones you've heard of, but then there's also two other completely separate stealth sections that start with the person who is chasing you... seeing you're there and talking to you to your face and then running off so you can sneak past them for some reason. LoS was like a montage of ideas from better games done much worse. All playing it did was make me want to play the games it was taking ideas from. It didn't help that the plot was bad even for a Castlevania have.

i know this isn't NMD but there's no genchat in NMD and nobody posts there anyway (which is something i've never been able to figure out) anyway i wrote a song in my dream, happens a lot but this time i was actually able to play it when i woke up, at least the main part of it, and i'm trying to figure out if i stole it from somewhere or i actually "wrote" it. soundhound gives me nothing helpful, hooktheory tells me that "wreck it wreck-it ralph" by buckner and garcia* and "no rain" by blind melon contain it but not remotely in the way i'm playing it ANYWAY, the basis of it is just (on E string) 5-3-77777-55-3-5-3-77777-5-3 (ad infinitum) in my dream it was accompanied by a homeless girl humming along which made it sound like Bardo Pond but i can't find any of their songs that fit * Bucker and Garcia are still alive and writing songs????

I missed the chat about monk murder mystery but there's that remake on steam of that old game based on that connery film/umberto eco book "the name of the rose." This is the only class I can remember what the main differences between male and female versions are. Mechanic Summoner who focuses on building a variety of different robots from little explosive ones to time bombs to support mechs that fly around shooting at stuff around you and a lot of other bits and pieces where you just set things down and watch enemies get killed.     Launcher Flamethrowers, laser rifles, megabusters, nuclear warheads, gatling guns, etc etc etc

I'd say it's worth messing around for a bit if you're curious to see a unique adventure game from 1987. It takes place over 7 days in real game time and you have to pay respect to church traditions while also solving the murders.

oh man Ys Origin is great and i'm only like 20 minutes in, this is exactly the kind of cute retro hack and slash i need between Destiny sessions i also got PAGANRANDO 1+2 because i realized i legitimately don't even think i got past the first case in the second game and crazy anime with dumb characters is my jam, also i want the full experience for when i do get 3 VIDEO GAMES e: i'm just waiting on the weed delivery guy right now cause i still have the flu and don't wanna leave the house i took a couple of the benzos i still get prescribed but usually never take because they have the interesting side effect of making a fever feel less wretched and awful e2: i just now decided i'm gonna do a LP of DANGITRONPAUL 1-2, which is nothing new, but might be a good way to start my LPing career because it's a game that might attract viewers precision fucked around with this message at 16:01 on Sep 26, 2017 |
