Faried probably honestly only making the Olympic team out of loyalty to USA basketball, off of a season of Exit Planning from the Nuggets, then being a monster that the US maybe doesn't get a gold medal without, then into a Denver offense that couldn't play him anymore is depressing. I dunno, I think if he ended up on a team with enough shooting and solid defensive rotations (Faried does try on defense even if he doesn't have the right instincts) and he'd probably have an impact.

It's a bit expensive, it has commercials unless you go with the crazy expensive plan, they only had 4 commercials last season so you saw them 10,000 times, and blackouts can be annoying. The quality is really good, even on my so-so internet I always had really good streams, it's simple to use, you always know your team is going to be watchable unless you are in the blackout. There is always r/nbastreams but sometimes if your team isn't that good, you may have to watch at 200p since there wont be a lot of people wanting to stream that. I dont know if ballstreams or the such is around anymore. In the end...it's ok. I dont hate that I spend 100 bucks to watch the Pacers, but I'm not yelling from the rooftops for people to buy it like I am a service like MLB.tv

Nuggets watchers; in what ways is Faried a worse player than Tristan Thompson? As a person who has watched a lot of TT and not a lot of Faried, I always assumed they were pretty much the same type of player.

TT has a small superpower in that he's an amazing offensive rebounder, which makes him uniquely valuable and important to the Cavs. Faried is more of a bog standard board getter. TT is also a better rim protector than Faried

I was gonna ask the same thing about LiveStream. It's $120 for single team, $200 for all teams + commercials, and $250 for no commercials. I'm blacked out on LAC and LAL, but I'm a Kings fan so I don't mind. I'll still get to see Ball bust. Very intrigued by the Clips also, if Griffin stays healthy. But Sac had a great offseason! Can't wait to see Vince suit up in the royal purple.

I can't speak for the experience of a US based fan, but as someone who lives in London across the pond League Pass is a brilliant product. The streams are great quality, the stats tracking and layout alongside the games are nice, you can have multiple games open at the same time or just switch from one to the other whenever, option of choosing home or away broadcast feeds (watch Houston or Boston games while never having to hear their extremely lovely commentary teams ever again!), and the condensed highlights (12-20 minutes depending) they provide of every game are really great too, especially for an overseas viewer who can very rarely stay up to watch west coast games live. However, I do order it via a VPN to get the Canadian pass as it is way cheaper - £81 ($108 US) once the 10% renewal discount was applied, vs £184.99 ($248 US) if I ordered legit as a UK subscriber. If I was paying the official price then I very probably wouldn't do it and make do with streams, but at the VPN price it's worth it for me. Once you go through the VPN to set up billing you don't need to use it to watch the games, it's attached to your login account and you can watch using a normal browser perfectly fine. I didn't even have to do it this year as I just left on auto-renew and billing and it renewed at the Canadian price automatically.
