some of that attrition is just because of the ravages of time, but a substantial amount of it is because of bitter former goons who are mad that the forums "grew up" for lack of better words. if you hang around any SA offsite you'll see a lot of chatter about how SA got too politically correct and liberal, and joking about raping dead babies isn't allowed anymore or whatever

some of those people are still so incredibly mad about being pushed out of the sa forums that they have taken it upon themselves as a personal crusade to doxx and harass people they don't like. there are offsites that still nerdily track threads exactly like this so they can quote people who post itt and then mock those posts on their obscure, super dead safe spaces with maybe a few dozen active posters

think about why stuff like gamergate is not tolerated here. it's because all the goons who would be gamergaters have either been banned, or chased away to the point that the few who remain know enough to shut up about it, mostly. and those other, more vile former goons still lurk in the sewers of dumb offsites nursing decade long grudges. yes it is completely pathetic but it happens

Have you considered that if multiple goons who have no idea who you are ask you to stop doing something because it is annoying, it might just be because it is just generally annoying to see our news thread spammed, rather than us all being terrified of seeing famous black people in gif format? Howareu is an awesome as hell poster and he asked a pretty reasonable thing, for you to act like any other poster and not drop unrelated gif after unrelated gif in the Trump thread, something that would get a normal poster probated or banned. You accused him and everyone else who gets annoyed of your constant gif posting, of being a racist, which, incidentally, is kind of a lovely thing to do.

The only reason this gets brought up at all is, as he (or she, I don't even know actually) pointed out, we can't ignore you. So asking you to stop is pretty much all anyone can do. To which you respond by being an aggressively lovely person and accusing posters of being racists.
