Anecdotally, as far as birds and pictures go, my cockatiel has never been interested in static pictures, but he does watch TV sometimes. He likes Disney movies and Bob Ross.

Mine made sure that we could never watch animal planet, because they'd alert for every predator or preen and strut for every bird. Every bird. The male, aptly named Mischief, learned the Ed, Edd, and Eddy theme song which made my parents have a long talk with me about watching too much TV. They weren't wrong but that bird's still a fuckin snitch.
