I think the 4 L&A will still come out a bit ahead if you use something like Enhance+Bowie but if you've got Rod Mastery and a Dark Fina's TMR then you're probably going to be pretty close with a pair of MAG 30%s. edit: Nope, the rod is better. Not sure if this was all common knowledge, but I'll thank this raid for my knowledge that: -- 3 Orlandeau or DVs can chain perfectly by hitting the AUTO button. 2 does not work. 3 works better than I can do by hand, every time. The bonus is that apparently, Luneth falls sweetly in there too, so I can queue up all four and press a single button instead of trying to speed-jam four clicks. -- Luneth's Advancing whatever setup move should be perfectly suited for this event, but any counterattack cancels the effect, which is stupid and lame. -- Soleil is cool and can survive more than the first round of battle if I actually bother equipping her with stuff and doing a round of damage mitigation steps. I've just never had to bother until now. -- Everyone should fully enhance Soleil. I would have said the same for Delita last raid, and it's amazing how neutered he was this time around. -- FoV with FD if F'd

doublehand, her TMR, flat attack. since she's got true doublehand and it stacks with doublehand that means flat attack is gonna be way better than percentages on her. like black cowl, monster breastplate, two bracers, her tmr is bis for her i think. and then doublehand and just some 30% atk tmrs edit: oh right i forgot about amelias tmr, thats better than monster breastplate

DEF/SPR scale linearly: someone with 200 SPR will take half as much damage as someone with 100 SPR and will take twice as much damage as someone with 400 SPR. This also means that there's quick diminishing returns involved; the more SPR you have, the more SPR you need to add to gain the same relative % damage reduction as someone with lower SPR. Assuming you're facing off against a fully magic boss, I'd say 10% HP on units with more than 300 SPR.

So that becomes 1,570,164. Ergo... it depends! What type of damage does the enemy do more of? Is Soleil fully HP potted out? Can you heal all of that HP? What part of the damage calculations did I overlook this time?

I know she wants her TMR, but what else? On top of what others already said: Simply having her TM will give her something like 700+ atk at level 100 with craftable/buyable gear and materia. Her LB's worth leveling as well, IMO, because it doesn't take much to fill it and the damage is considerable once you get the timing down to land most/all the hits during a maxxed out chain. It hits random targets so its use outside of single target boss fights is not as high though. On any fight where you spend a turn setting up have her use shattering shot for the 50% def/lightning debuffs, ensuring she hits like a truck made out of electrified trucks with True Shot or her LB. I haven't heard of any enhancement info being found among the leaked docs, so if/when Olive gets enhancements we might not see them until April or May, if not later.

You're right I should have used trick hat, but I was avoiding 5* TMRs because it's unlikely most people have access to all of those. I almost used Siren's Robe instead of Dark Robe because I know that most people aren't prioritizing MAG gear (based on the fact that everytime a high DEF low SPR boss comes along people lose their minds about how unfair it is that Gumi shat in their Orlandeau-meta soup). But at this point there's probably enough players that missed out on Creepy Mask that Trick Hat should be in that spot.
