How much time would I need to put aside to get into Stellaris, I got that itch but I haven't played a 4X since my teens when free time was infinite and I could do whatever I want all the time.

[/quote] You do realize though in the SC lore entire planets are based off of a single business. You'd need to travel to JC Penny's Reconstruction planet to get your jacket fixed. You'd need to bring your floors to Molly Maids Planet to have them swept. I'm sorry it's not easier, but this is the verse and it's not easy floating in the gases of a gas giant while it's mined for its precious minerals and metals.
