Seeing how the ultras thread has been archived, I'll post a little tidbit of news here - Following an embarrassing 3-0 away loss to Lech, upon their return to their Warsaw training ground, Legia players and coaching staff had been "slapped around" by a group of 50 ultras, led by Legia's capo. This "ordeal" lasted for about 10 minutes, after which the players were let go and told that if they embarrass themselves after the international break, the ultras would come back. No official statement has been made and the police have made no mention of any incident being reported.

Well, this has been brewing for a while. There's been a change of ownership, the team has been purposefully nonperforming to oust their previous manager and tanked both the CL and EL qualifiers, now it seems they're doing the same with the new guy. It's angered him enough to publicly accuse them of betrayal (the actual quote is "today I have been betrayed, they have played like women out there tonight"). If the reports are accurate, the new manager was the only one the ultras did not target.

On Sunday, Epcot celebrated its 35th birthday while Walt Disney World turned 46, and it led to a few soccer stars partying a little too hard and actually getting kicked out. Team USA soccer star Alex Morgan and a group that included many MLS players were asked by police to leave Epcot on Sunday after getting a bit too carried away and rowdy at a pub in the United Kingdom pavilion. According to TMZ Sports, Morgan was with a large group of people that included a number of MLS stars, most of which were from Orlando City Soccer Club. One of those players was Morgan’s husband, Servando Carrasco, who is a midfielder for Orlando City. The group had been partying in a pub in the United Kingdom pavilion of Epcot’s world showcase when things started to get out of hand. Apparently, the soccer group began to get “rowdy” and started arguing with another group of people that led to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department arriving and getting involved. Upon their arrival, they advised everyone that they needed to leave. Four people in total were kicked out of Epcot and escorted from the park; Alex Morgan, Giles Barnes, Donny Toia, and Toia’s wife, Courtney. http://flip.it/8s1teD

One of the better things to have come out of Brazil being battered at the last World Cup is that it hopefully ends the myth that anyone from Brazil is automatically amazing, as if they have a footballing x-gene or something. Every time John Motson would describe the Portugueuse right back for some random club as 'Brazilian-born', as if it was some magical far off land that mere mortals couldn't comprehend, it drove me up the loving wall.
