This is one of those scenes that's great to see in person, but doesn't photograph well. The closest thing you've got to a focal point is some random tree branches in the lower left that should have been cropped out, and there's no flow drawing the viewer's eye towards anything.

I don't mean to suggest there isn't a good picture in there somewhere. The clouds have potential and everyone loves fall colors. But not knowing the spot it's hard to guess what else to do.  But I've definitely been in areas like that, you gotta stand there and take in the scene but putting it through a camera lens it instantly turns lame.

These look nice but it looks like there are some halos around the rocks in both. They seem more noticeable in the 2nd one.
