The whole way Junkrat is agreed to be played now with the 2 second concussion mine CD talent seems so cancerous and dumb (especially since it replaces your mount essentially as well), but without it he's really not that good. I wonder if he gets some bigger changes shortly after the patch, especially since they announced this patch is going to be the Blizzcon build for championships. In that case, they better drat well make sure it's not a buggy mess like the last few as well.

I binged on The One True KT in QM last night, went from being terrible/not finishing the quest to multiple Top Hero+Siege damage games by the time I got to level 7. Free Hero Rotation working as intended, 10k gold well-spent.

HGC rules are that a hero is not allowed to be played until two weeks after release. They followed this rule for Ana but decided it wouldn't apply to Junkrat because reasons.

In that video the streamer's team has a 3 level advantage though. Plus the enemy team doesn't try to mount a proper gank as a response. (Not that an Ana/Johanna/Zuljin/Probius gank is super scary if you're not asleep at the wheel but still) The game already has some very good dual laners that don't break things like Xul, Leoric, Azmo ... Granted, we can probably expect a nerf to his mobility which seems a bit too much but I don't see how he is degenerate beyond that. Hammer has some dumb cheesy strats as well with her BFG/Orbital cannon at 20 and she hardly warps the meta.

I'd be shocked if Ripper Air goes live as is. That's most likely the first thing to get nerfed. Also Junkrat has two abilities with extremely long cooldowns, so mana was likely never an issue for him to begin with. If he wasn't manaless you probably wouldn't notice.

I've had it take upwards of five minutes but normally it's quicker than that. If you're trying to queue with 2 people it takes forever though.

Could be confirmation bias, but sometimes it seems bugged and requeuing fixes it. Also highly dependent on time of day and your rank. If you're diamond or above you've got fewer peers to match with. For single queue HL I only get 300 seconds from about 4 AM until 9 AM, 200 seconds until 11 AM. The other oddity was when I started a smurf (back before 2.0) and I played all AI games until I qualified for HL to see where it'd seed me. Queues took forever in that case.
