Although there are bound to be some genuine backers who: ● Can't grasp that what's being promised by CIG is simply impossible. ● Fail to see the marketing methods and endless ship sales as exploitative. ● Don't understand that CIG's complete lack of cohesive design methodology is a REALLY inefficient way to make a game (although the 'create the shiny assets before the gameplay mechanics' is a great way of bringing in that lovely lucre). These people will defend the company come-what-may (particularly if they see others doing the same). I just can't believe that there can be that many of them. So there must be others who know exactly how things stand, but have ulterior motives for their actions, the most likely being financial.
