Mak0rz posted:You know for someone who's such a crackshot I'm surprised you even bought the normal rifle scope. I don't think I ever used that thing. It's partly avarice and mostly that it's easier to aim, for me. The regular scopes are wide-lined + shapes and they're totally fine but there's a higher sensitivity in the extra zoom that helps me. And the add-on scope takes up less of the screen when scoped in versus the +. Lunethex fucked around with this message at 07:32 on Oct 6, 2017 |

At the start of the crane game, you can actually pick up the two guys standing next to each other at the same time, allowing you to kill all four of them only three crane uses

I uploaded the Mercenaries videos from previous livestream. They're on my channel and, of course, in the RE4 playlist on the Timewarriors channel if you need some Resident Evil 4. HUNK Village Round 1 Krauser Village HUNK Village Round 2 Wesker Castle Ada Fortifications Krauser Waterworld My favorite one is, of course, Wesker. I'm the headless guy at 13:45 in the Wesker video who gets blinded by a flash grenade. Also thank you for giving me the blueprint for how I'm going to unlock the Handcannon in the PC version because I am pretty bad at Mercenaries. E: The Bow is sweet and I wish you could get it in-game, cumbersome though it would be The Silencer too except that's even more impractical somehow C-Euro fucked around with this message at 23:40 on Oct 9, 2017 |

Is that water world level part of cut content or was it made specifically for Mercenaries to round the level variety to four arenas?

I put it in the description of a Krauser video but 60000 is the 5 star rank. 90000 points is SS rank in RE5 Solo Mercenaries, in case I uttered that it was in fact 90k for RE4 anywhere else.

You know, the exterior stairwell to my basement was home to several black widow spiders for many years. It didn't really bother me all that much. They're actually fairly docile spiders and only like 1 in 10 people has a bad reaction to their venom. That being said, gently caress spiders in videogames because they're goddamn assholes most of the time.

Was that high-tension wrecking ball music always in the game? I don't remember it at all KieranWalker posted:only like 1 in 10 people has a bad reaction to their venom. And a far more insignificant number of people actually get bitten by them to begin with. KieranWalker posted:That being said, gently caress spiders in videogames because they're goddamn assholes most of the time. Yakuza is a dick but I think it makes a good boss fight. It's like the only video game spider I don't instantly groan upon meeting, though.

Rimworld modding is such a wonderful thing. Especially when I look at the invading force and they have a tank. At which point the guided cruise missile turrets kick in and blow up the entire invasion force and their corpses. Also the mending mod lets you take off the "deadman's apparel" when something is fixed up fully.

I think the water room in 3-1 could make a case for being the hardest room in the game, but it's between that room and the wrecking ball room. 5-2 is also definitely the hardest chapter in the game for how many awkward enemy setups it gives you, while also forcing you to protect Ashley.

Chapter 5-3 - The Revolver [Polsy] Leon becomes a movie star in this chapter and reunites with an old friend who immediately tries to kill him for the crime of enjoying different flavors of frozen dairy product. While we may never understand where that obsession came from, we can at least understand that his taste was the poorest

Every dialog between Leon and Krauser sounds like it was written by an edgy 15 year old webcomic writer. They are top tier cheese in this game already full of cheesey (but often great) lines. Also you can see through Krauser's torso via the new window Leon cut into his shirt during the end of that knife scene.

Lune left out the part of Darkside Chronicles where there is a lady who controls leeches or bugs or some poo poo by singing and she's one of, if not the final, bosses in the game and she just loving sings at you the whole time and it's ridiculous. Maybe i'm overthinking the knife fight, but i find it funny that there is the QTE where Krauser kicks the barrel at you and THEN you are prompted to hit the button to jump out of the way.Like the game wants you to react to the knife and not the steel loving drum being kicked at your face that Leon just knocks away like it was made out of cardboard. It is very purposefully timed so that you've already seen the barrel deflection happen and are suppose to hit the buttons AFTER that and not before. Maybe playtesters were reacting to soon and getting killed for it?

I think I left out a lot more about that one since I read up on it on the RE Wikia a couple days before and only tried to get a summary down for Krauser. As for the girl who sings at bugs at least she's not Alexia.

I just noticed this, but aside from one short foreshadowing scene at the end of chapter 4, we meet, fight, and kill Krauser over the span of 20 minutes. Why did this guy need to get a backstory in the railshooter again?

FriskyBoat posted:I just noticed this, but aside from one short foreshadowing scene at the end of chapter 4, we meet, fight, and kill Krauser over the span of 20 minutes. Because, even if he was a pretty bit character in the story (though he was the one who kidnapped Ashley in the first place), he had a pretty cool design and the quicktime fight was pretty revolutionary (as close as you can get to using that word in relation to what later became a pretty easily-bad game mechanic) at the time. Resident Evil doesn't exactly have all that many memorable characters that you don't play, all told, and Wesker didn't have too many actual associates or lieutenants, so I guess he made the grade?

I seem to remember Krauser having different dialogue in that second QTE conversation, he says something like "I see you've honed your skills" after you respond. I think it might have to do with whether or not you've taken damage up to that point?

ive come to the conclusion that weve both been using herbs in re4 the wrong way for years instead of having lots of green herbs and a stack of G+R and an even smaller stack of G+R+Y we should have as many G+R and G+Y stacks as possible with no G+R+Y. then whenever possible you can use a G+Y when you take a hit without wasting a red and this also frees up 1 more inventory space than using an egg
