What'd you think? Amnesia 1 is probably my favorite horror game period, but Amnesia 2 is real bad imo.

Did anyone play the Wii U Fatal Frame game? I played 2 and really liked it. Shame Fatal Frame Zero(?) didn't get a physical copy I could buy used somewhere.

This is a good idea though I never made it past the first mission last time.

I thought Amnesia 1 was okay, though I didn't like 'being able to see' as the resource management aspect and it's pretty old school indie jank now, but it was spooky enough.

Machine for Pigs was ehhh, I can see what they were going for and I enjoy 'walking simulators' generally it was just hilariously unsubtle and never really sold the 'you're exploring a living machine' aspect.

Oh and Maiden of Black Water did get a physical release, it was just a limited one you could only buy from Nintendo's online store so yeah you're probably out of luck getting a cheap second hand copy.

It turns out the fire emblem series is actually good if your first game isn't the remake on the DS but actually one of the GBA games, hmm interesting.

The structure of this game is so weird (7). Hey, you are a tactician hanging out with Lynn, lets meet a ton of characters and 10 missions later well you save the day and Lynn says goodbye to you and suddenly its one year later and you are hanging out with a pretty boy instead.

The thing is it actually works pretty well, and having those characters that show up in those first 10 missions established already when they come back in again just feels real good.
What are some other games that have a weird structure like this, I can't really think of anything. And I don't mean the whole "you are suddenly a different character for the last mission/post game" because honestly that is pretty standard.

Completing the game drops you back to the final save point so you can finish the story and just 100% everything later.
