So is this the angle right-wing media is going with? "Trump loving over your healthcare is actually GOOD THING because evil insurance companies will get less money"? I haven't been keeping up lately.

Garrison has this weird vein of old cartoon styles that run through his work; wouldn't be surprised if he practiced drawing by copying old Warner Brothers cartoons or something back in the day. Anyway, because he's a bad artist he does a really poor job of combining/applying that to more realistic/serious stuff. Because he's a bad person he portrays the very real assault of actual women with a setup worthy a cartoon wolf chasing a sexy red riding hood.

Most of the problem was Toyota owners panicking the first time they felt a decent rate of acceleration

There are so many cartoon hinting conventions that Garrison just doesn't get at all. Is Trump's left leg spinning in place while playing music? Because that's what he drew.

Panty Saluter posted:Mostly it was the floormats pushing forward and jamming the throttle pedal. I think there was a separate software issue but it was the lesser of the two. Toyota tried to claim it was a floormat issue in order to shift attention away from their software. Most of the problem was user error, but it was exacerbated by the software having a critical deficiency in its fail-safe methods. Essentially: - the software could enter a bugged state where the throttle would remain open even though the pedal was depressed - normally, a watchdog system would detect this and reset the hardware within milliseconds - however, if the brake pedal was depressed, the watchdog would not function. the user had to release their foot from the pedal before the computer would reset. This is unusual and unsafe behavior. So the person would feel their car start to accelerate out of control, they'd stomp on the brake, and as long as they held the brake down to the floor, the engine would stay at full throttle. If they released or pumped the brake at any time, the computer would reset and the car would come back under control. If they shifted into neutral, the engine would keep revving but the car would not accelerate. If they held down the start button, the engine would shut down. So -- mostly user error, because there were still several alternate methods of stopping the vehicle, but Toyota's software was poorly written in order to cause the problem in the first place.

Dash lines are drawn along the direction of movement, while afterimage lines are displaced contours around the edge of an object. What Garrison drew around Trump and Americhick are dash lines, and some of them work, but the ones on his leg indicate that it is turning in place. Garrison's clever that way. He's using his decent drawing skills to cover up for the fact he's a lovely artist. Probably not on purpose, though, I bet he thinks he's an amazing artist. Its also why he fucks up sometimes and draws poo poo like the anime lady and that garbage football shark. Knowing how to ink doesn't make up for his lack of skill in everything else.

Five days ago His reasoning is pretty basic: few people know who Weinstein is. Which is true. He points out that he has made tons of Cosby and Bill Clinton jokes, which is also true. I absolutely can not believe that the old "Why aren't ____________ denouncing members of ________ group?" is STILL god drat working. ESPECIALLY not even a week after a horrific shooting that I've YET to hear one NRA member denounce. They've even backed off the weak rear end "bump stock" thing they were throwing around for two days. My idiot boss and coworker were all blathering on about how this was just a plot to take away our guns and I pointed out that all three branches of the government are controlled by Republicans. The answer was a mumbled "Yeah but...like...next time...". They also refused my bet of a thousand dollars that gun rights won't be restricted in any way even when I stretched it out until the end of Trump's term. THAT is the motherfucking galling part: they KNOW that what they're saying is bullshit but they say it anyway. Also, also let's be fair here, I couldn't find a single picture of Kimmel with Weinstein, but look what does pop up Duke Igthorn fucked around with this message at 04:43 on Oct 15, 2017 |
