It's a weird movie in that regard. Obi Wan is kinda just hanging out for half of it.

In the first drafts, Obi-Wan was essentially playing the role of Qui-Gon, which is sort of reflected in your observation. I think Lucas ended up scrapping that because it didn't give Obi-Wan much of a dynamic to play off of, and the age difference between him and Anakin might've been a little screwy.

Don’t be disingenuous, the poster referenced Threepio being pacified directly by being physically deactivated and that JarJar likewise received a Jedi equivalent from Qui-Gon as a callback to the asteroid chase. Being told to shut up is not in the same ball park as being rendered completely senseless, nor the kind of rhyming scene comparison that was being claimed.

Yeah, the only thing we can do with a title at this point is try to use it to determine something about what the movie could be about. The Last Jedi created a conversation. This tells us, "This movie has Han Solo. Boring.

Like, if I was being super generous, maybe they're saying that he is particularly alone at the start of this movie, and it's about letting people in. But that's pure speculation. What he have is his last name. Meh.

Maybe that means they'll stop doing them sooner rather than later. Maybe we'll be done after Fett, Alone and Maul By Myself.

Yea I'll be interested to see what pointless fan service gets shoehorned into this one, it's a bit trickier because it's at time period where most of the obvious references would be from the prequels.

Maybe I'm wrong though, how old is Han even supposed to be in the OT? Are we talking about like a 15 year gap here or is this movie only supposed to take place like 5 years before the OT?

He's 29/30 in ANH IIRC.

Yes, that does mean he's a 30 year old hitting on a 19 year old.
