i remember on a replay thinking ep1 was a better than i remembered, but it's still the really drawn out city fighting game with a cool citadel intro.

Citadel intro is definitely the strongest part. I think its mostly just that recent good FPSes have been about giving you really neat toys and crazy movement like in Titanfall 2 and DOOM, going back to playing as fragile slow Freeman who has to conserve ammo and run to the nearest cover is jarring.

yeah as much as i like the half life games, they initiated the awful trend of making almost everything hitscan. hell hl2 took away things like bullsquids.

24. Avenging Spirit (Bad Ending) I only got two of the three keys so I have to play the whole thing again and get the second key. But I got to the end. Super Mario Run, but I need to go back and collect every bonus coin in every level and then do Star Road and beat Remix 10. But I saved princess peach so it's a start.

Yeah and they dropped the price to 5 dollar which is why I picked it up. Also I needed a new mobile game after I had married 20 Billion wives.

I've forgot to post in this thread, but I've mostly been playing Stellaris (and losing). But in the meantime I beat Long Live The Queen. You pretty much have to plan your stats around one jerk that appears at the end of the game to beat it, who can only be defeated by two or three specific strategies.

Fran Bow. A neat little point-and-click adventure. I wish it had stayed spooky for more of the game though, the horror was really well-done but it changes genres partway through and the spookiness is just kind of intermittent afterwards.

Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor (100%). I think I liked it even better than the first time I played through it years ago. My nemesis at the end of the game this time around was an appropriate choice too, the first time it was some loser that shot me in the back in ambush while I was at low health and then I killed him in revenge and then again when he tried the ambush trick again later, this time it was my bitter enemy Feldûsh Pit-Fighter, it was actually an appropriate choice since we must have killed each other half a dozen times apiece before the end. See you in Hell, Feldûsh. I'll probably try the DLC campaigns too since I haven't played those before and then get my people ready to be carried over into Shadow of War, which I'll definitely be buying soon.

Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga This quickly became one of my favorite SMTs I've played so far. If only October weren't so jam packed with new releases I'd be jumping right into the sequel.

Crypt of the Necrodancer as Cadence and Melody. Need to finish it as Aria to beat the story but as it turns out it's very hard to not take any damage at all on the hardest level of the game. it's cool that you can unlock danganronpa mode though.
