I've seen both Ghost in the Shells at least twice and I have never been able to give a single poo poo about anything that happens in either one of them. How can people hate Gundam for being boring  y politics poo poo but like this show?

So in the Dragon Ball Super manga, Beerus actually calls Shin out for trying to solve the whole Buu thing himself and not waking him up about it. Which, yeah, Beerus didn't ACTUALLY exist yet, but I appreciate any endeavor to make Shin even more incompetent.

It's distracting from sexy cyborg lady and co. fightin' cybercrime. And since sexy cyborg lady looks sexy doing pretty much anything it's not much of a distraction. Especially since most of the plot is providing context for their fightin' cybercrime and why it is a crime/why it's cyber in the first place. Also the giant robots of the show are robot spider-tank dweebs who want to learn about the human condition despite it actively hindering them at their job. Edit: Really, Ghost in the Shell is like CIS with broader political/technological/psychological/sociological stuff thrown in to help people understand the cyberworld of the show.
