Theres also a little murata rubbing off on ONE. Or ONE storyboarding to muratad strengths. Either way hes using a lot more panels with more detail than usual.

Of course, he can definitely draw this nicely, but he must be showing off on this particular chapter.

It's not that he got better, it's that he put more effort into this storyboard vs the previous ones. He could have drawn the previous storyboards like this if he wanted to, but he didn't

It's kind of true that ONE makes his characters look like a bunch of weirdos. Murata's art is way too polished to look truly weird. Like, in ONE's panel, Tatsumaki looks like an imp. In Murata's panel, she looks a bit smug.

Tatsumaki looks way more intimdating in ONE's version imo, like she might honestly be unhinged also the crumpled silverware can be mistaken for like, lightning energy at a glance which is a cool visual

The majority of the difference is in the eyes I hope we are all happy with not getting new chapters for a while because Murata is spending time learning how to draw more menacing eyes

This is in contrast to how Saitama saw her, initially mistaking her as a (foul-mouthed) child. In Murata's panel, Tatsumaki looks basically the same as she always does, just lit more dramatically.
