I really want Jimmie to win so The "King" and Sr. are tied for 2nd. Anyone else will be a disappointment.

If Johnson had only won 2-3 titles he'd be easily the most popular non-Earnhardt in the sport.

Chase Elliot, still in with a chance to win the championship without ever having won a race. Imagine him finishing in the top 5 (again) ahead of the other three in the Champs 4 at Homestead. The ultimate reward for consistency across the entire season. I like how much I'm enjoying all the scenarios in NASCAR this season, although probably not for the reasons NASCAR wants me to enjoy them.

A fitting tribute to Matt Kenseth if there ever was one. I'd prefer to see Suarez go HAM at Homestead if that's going to be the case, though.

Elitist Bitch posted:This is... an interesting take: I will go along with this if it means Kyle Busch has to run Morgan Shepherd's Jesusmobile. Otherwise, it's a problem Brad has contributed to and it sounds like he still wants to run the series as a driver. Ryan Newman came one spot away from winning a title in 2014 without winning a race (though, as it played out, he'd have had to have won which would've been less fun.) That is the only scenario in which I will pull for a Chase Elliott championship.

He ran Larson into the wall at Phoenix to get the one point he needed to advance to Homestead, so if that's not championship-caliber and giving 100% in compliance with NASCAR rules, I don't know what to tell you. gently caress him, that cost Gordon.

WWE really doesn't like their wrestlers getting outside of Titan Tower's shadow. They only work with Dwayne nowadays because he's a famous actor; the publicity is worth more than the spite.

Marco Andretti and Graham Rahal have talked to Junyer about one-offs in NXS. "Show me the money" is the response.quote:"I mean, (Ron) Fellows when he ran our car he comes to us and says ‘hey got a little money, you got an open race somewhere?’ Awesome, let’s do it," Earnhardt said. "That is as simple as that. And so, if we did have those opportunities we certainly would entertain it and I think it would be great for the sport to have an Andretti out there running in stock car no matter where it is at, it would be awesome." http://autoweek.com/article/nascar/marco-andretti-will-have-wait-space-race-nascar-xfinity-jr-motorsports
