Our little Haddy (short for Captain Haddock, for reasons dad has never been able to adequately explain) was desperate for cuddles earlier. As someone who spent 3 years in undergrad studying spotted salamanders I can confirm that ambystomids are the best. So smol  Also they can live into their teens and 20s! They get to be big chunkies.
