Vettel led the championship for over half the season, he even had a 25 point lead at one stage. It was his championship to lose, and he lost it spectacularly. Lewis is well deserving of the WDC this year, and I don't agree he had it easy like Alonso claims, if Ferrari & Seb didn't make it so difficult for themselves for various reasons it would have been a much closer title fight.

The fact that it was Ferrari, they were always going to implode and then did is precisely why Lewis had it so easy. If your boxing a guy who fights you fairly evenly the first 7 rounds has a heart attack and dies in the 8th round you had it easy.
