Garrison's art is infinitely more pleasant to look at than, say, Ramirez', and most of the little anatomical issues or whatever can be easily excused with "it's a cartoon." He's also fairly clever (franken/stein made me smile) and has a bit of MAD-magazine wackiness (the Mueller snake) that I enjoy. Like, in the list of "Cartoons posted in this thread that don't physically hurt my eyes to read" he's in there along with Zelda and Bors and a few others. (At the opposite side is First Dog and anything by Ramirez or the gang of nobodies that ape his style). If you go back and look at his old Illuminati stuff they're still busy, but there's more of an eye towards overall composition that the current stuff which is every put-down he has about a thing mixed with an I-SPY puzzle of references to even more things.
