I have never been comfortable with modern steering wheels where the airbag cover and horn button are the same thing. I prefer the way my old Crown Vic did it where the horn buttons were outside of the airbag area.

Clearly you need to get better at accelerating when you see a pedestrian enter a crosswalk or it looks like someone might pull out in front of you. Plan for it, then you'll be ready!

My car automatically honks when you grip the wheel  And also sometimes when i use the steering wheel to get in an out of the car. The entire inside of the steering wheel ring is the horn button, so anywhere you squeeze the steering wheel honks the horn. The horn button is over 2 feet long. It's the best.
