Relationships need more than just sex filled with both love born out of the biggest ego in the universe and hatred for filthy ningens to survive. They also need goals in common, and plotting the absolute destruction of any and all ningens is a commendable goal for a couple and I wish Black and Zamasu the best in their married life.

You also need a cabin. In the woods.

And is it still masturbation when you're in someone else's body?

Does anyone know if Xenoverse 2 on the Switch has all the DLC included with it or is it sold separately?

I hadn't even thought about this. I'm not really going to buy XV2 a second time, am I? :ohdear:

goku black is included, but the DLC characters are paid DLC.

also, the XV1 single-player campaign is a separate download that is only free for NA/EU until October 31; presumably, it's switching to a paid extra after that.

in unrelated news, XV2 is getting a new (paid DLC) expansion that adds a bunch of Buu Saga stuff.

The DLC is sold seperately, and can be found by looking further down on the store page for it. I think it is $30 in all

They're not. They have completely different special and super moves as well as stats

However you also just get them from beating story mode.

We also have an explanation of the Dragon Ball system in FighterZ and some more clarification on how Tenshinhan and Ginyu's puppet moves work, here: http://www.shonengamez.com/2017/11/01/dragon-ball-fighterz-shenron-summon-wish-translations-and-more-new-info/

The fact that Ginyu's Body-Change prevents changing back and turns off the opponents assist (I think just the opponents) as well as exchanging characters is insane.

that boardgame figure-collecting thing for XV2, the fighting in that looks like it's automatic? Or am I misunderstanding the footage?

it seems like a neat side-mode thing but I don't totally get what it is yet. i have to assume there's going to be some special rewards earned from that for the normal game

I understood the same. It seems like your part in the game is choosing figures and positions to trigger effects, and battles themselves are automatic. Though I don't quite get it either.

I don't think I'm bad at videogames but I'm having a whale of a time pulling off basically anything in Xenoverse 2. Like the dodge vanish step or whatever it's called, you tilt the left stick (so tilt, don't push it all the way I guess?) while holding ZL (or press ZL and tilt at the same time??) and then hit B but I pull this off like 10% of the time like every other move. Is the timing just really tight for everything or do I just suck? I like the game but I feel like I'll be missing out on a huge chunk of the gameplay and cool flashy fights if I can't do basic garbage like this

So it sounds like the tutorial just sucks and you pick up the advanced mechanics yourself through experience?

Blue sparks and big fucking shells.

:dukedog:
The tutorials are hot garbage. Some of them can't even be completed.

Vanish stepping or whatever it's called is easiest achieved by getting a feel for the rhythm of the inputs. A normal step is achieved when you use the trigger while moving (so you scoot in the designated direction). While you're in the middle of this scooting animation, pressing the jump button causes you to vanish. Using an alternating rhythm between the trigger button and the jump button will help you get the hang of it pretty quick.

I guess going back a few steps what are the first couple essential gameplay mechanics I should be mastering before anything else? I assume the vanish step thing we're talking about isn't super essential for just starting out is it? The only things I feel I have a super good grasp on at the moment are regular vanishes, chasing dudes after a combo finisher and uhh that's about it actually

I know it's possible to plow through it like this but I think it'll probably be more fun if you know what you're doing. Dbz is all about flashy over the top fights afterall

OK, so the Ginyu body swap is pretty awesome. And I think the Chiaotzu Suicide attack has the added effect of adding battle damage to the opponent model if they survive. Amazing.

The figure battle trailer for XV2 is now in English and I love how Freeza's super into it.

Also the story trailer for FighterZ is subbed and shows English translations for the in-game text. The subtitles are...not great, to say the least, but understandable.
