My best PoE name is Vampira which I have no idea how it hasn't been taken yet. So very edgy. Also Doctor_Robotnik which I've never gotten to using, I think I'll do it when I make a flame totem build.

I delete any character that's lower level and the same ascendency as standard. So I think right now the cutoff is 92-93 for most like raider, assassin, berserker, jugg, and slayer. This league was my first necromancer to 90+ so they get kept. Ideally it means eventually I have 19 characters that will always stay on standard and 5 that I can use for leagues/races. They all get renamed to _Slayer or _Juggernaught eventually, whenever I feel like bugging support.

there should be a super hardcore where instead of getting dumped into standard on death it immediately deletes your character and everything he owns

My entire PoE career is based around making clever puns or references with my character names, which is why I'm inordinately proud of Thomas_The_Shank_Engine and Dead_Frag_Bruise.

There should be a super hardcore mode where the character's death deletes the MTX that was equipped.

He's currently dualwield Cleave (Labrunner) on a 5-L Brass Dome. Pseudo-6 link with the Cleave gem. What holds me back from swapping the dualwield set-up to the 2h above? Surely Cleave is not the best pick, but I could just as easy swap in Cyclone when I would like to map farm right? Am I missing something obvious why it would be a bad idea?

Ancestral Bond (either from the tree or from Soul Mantle) or Tutokohama's Fortress. The former prevent you from dealing any damage, the latter is super duper expensive. If you're Scion or Templar, the Hierophant ascendancy also grants +totems.

Ancestral Bond is the most common way. Hierophant also has a node for +2 totems. Is a super expensive shield with +1, and a cheap armor.

I'm running a summoner witch, so right now its 5 zombies, an arc totem, and a horde of skeles when I remember to spawn them, so I can't see losing the ability to do damage myself being too bad. Now to figure out how to find this stuff
