Does Ford USA sell the European Ford Focus RS? Those German designed Focus are good proper hot hatches. I owned one of those and it was a blast. Or an R32 Golf if you’re willing to put up with owning a vag. My wife has a wagon with the R32 Golf’s 206TSI engine in it, does 0-60mph (0-100kph) in 5 seconds. Yes, her wagon is faster than a Cayman.

My mother had the 8th Ford Focus mk1 off the production line and sent it to cosworth for modification. Then she installed a dog gate in the back. She drove it until the front bumper was held on by duck tape and a nice mechanic took her keys off her and wrote it off when she told him all about how it kept stalling at 80 on the motorway but it was OK because she could jump start it at those speeds. And that the story of how the only known Ford Focus Cosworth died a drawn out undignified death One time she got a Volvo estate, loaded us kids in the back and got it to 140mph on the long straight near our house. I suspect that engine was not entirely legal. My mother is batshit insane.

Sadly it was some form of Volvo 240 quite possibly with a turbo. It was bought for a booze cruise to France, and then ended it’s life a year later when it shat out it’s big end all over the A57.

Massa's haterade blogs on Motorsport the past several weeks have made him my least favorite driver on the grid. I might make Poois comments on a regular basis, but I don't actually dislike the guy personally. With Felipe and his public politicking I genuinely think he gave new meaning to the word petulence. The only thing I care about for the rest of this season is seeing Big Frank pull Massa from driving in Brazil and putting in Are Kube as a gently caress you. It won't happen but god would it be hilarious if it did.
|
# ? Nov 5, 2017 11:33 |

Why not? Unless massa's contract guarantees him a seat in the next few races, there's no reason why Frank couldn't, if he thought Kubica was ready. Might even be some extra practice for him before the new season. It's not like Frank is known for being sentimental about drivers. I'd suggest the main reason they haven't announced who it is is to give the various would be drivers time to build a bankroll and cause a bidding war.

I just can't see them doing it at Felipe's home race and his final (this time for real) one at that. Just because we might think Massa has been acting like a babby doesn't mean there wouldn't be serious backlash over such a move from both fans and racing colleagues.

I want it to happen, I want it to happen real bad, but they also need to know he’s still good for car set up days. I can see big bobby K taking over a practice session or two before they actually put him in for a race.
