Thought I'd post more Freya here.

She's not allowed on the furniture, but she really doesn't give a poo poo about things like "rules".

The other day I got out of the shower and saw this:

It's, uh...it's her bed now. I've ceded it.

GSD are thinking dogs. She's clearly thought about your rules and decided against them.

My sister has a GSD, and she too is rebellious. I've stayed over there before and when I went to bed she ran in, leapt on my bed and looked at me adoringly. She's also downright rebellious! Sometimes you can give her a command and you can see her understand it and decide she doesn't want to.

I was looking through some scans of old photographs, and I think I have something that qualifies for this thread. When I met the girl who became my wife, she and her family had a Staffordshire Bull Terrier called Jake. He was full grown when I first encountered him, in about '90.

So most of these photos are from before I met my wife. First day at home.

Feeding time. (Jake looks those dogs that topple forwards when they feed.)

My brother in law with Jake.

Do you remember the days when you took photos, then had to wait 2 months to see that you'd cropped the top of heads off? Goongratulations - you're old. Now, get in that pint glass, Jake.

A cardboard box bed.

And a couple of weeks later!

Jake died in about 1995. He was a big idiot dog - he hated gloves, and would attack them on sight. He'd deign to be taken for a walk, then sit down when he'd had enough and refuse to go further. He would sneak up behind people and bark, just to make them jump. He was a Good Dog, and he's missed.
