Jrue seemingly forgot how to shoot from 3 to start this season and, since it's 30% of his shots, is seriously hurting his offense. He's been good-to-great around the basket and the long 2s have been kept to a minimum so it's really just his 3pt shot that is loving him up when compared to previous years. And I have no idea why since most of them are wide open.

When teams have played 9 games, half of their win-loss record is entirely random. Each addition game provides more information as to their actual ability. Right now each team has averaged about 10 games played, at this point last year, here's what the standings looked like:

Yeah, I think around 20-25 games you usually start getting some big picture stuff. 20 games in the NBA is equivalent to 4 in the NFL. There will also be a difference in how the league is going in Feb and March than Nov/Dec. Lineups will look different, some teams will quit, and some will be on fire. I definitely would not jump to any conclusions quite yet though.

My general rule is what does a teams win/loss record look like by the time a team gets to 20 wins. Injuries and trades can mess this up but if neither of those are a factor it usually holds up.

Yeah, they had a lot of injuries that ruined the crazy schemes that Luke had implemented last year. This year, they are way better on defense, so that should help them not drop off a cliff as hard (though I still don't expect more than 35 wins, especially if Lonzo cant get his poo poo together)
