Reading this Carter Page transcript is enthralling. He starts invoking fifth amendment rights against the subpoena, and double jeopardy, as a result of people not the government harassing him. I'm no fancy city lawyer, but I do declare that is not how either of those things work. I think the basic gist of it is that Page seriously thought he could just blurt out twitter bot shitposts on the transcript to launder that disinfo for later use, where instead of citing a loving VK referral link he can just cite the transcript of a congressional hearing. Except he's the dumbest page in the library so he just hosed up over and over again and then tried 5th-ing his way out of it but nobody was having it so there he sat, Carter Page, the man who went into congressional testimony pro se and showed the world how incredibly stupid he is.
