Finished The Evil Within 1 in 21:9 via Flawless Widescreen. Very cool ending. Fired up The Evil Within 2 and was greeted with this: It really is amazing what a cinematic aspect ratio can do for a game. Here's a few light spoiler-y screenshots from the first one, from top to bottom in order of least spoilery to most spoilery:

Clearly the best addition in The Evil Within 2 is the ability to partake in some nice deep black joe.

Nice way to start a new run of Strife. And I mean real Strife, not that stupid loving MOBA using the same name which stars an angry monkey in all its advertising.

Just started playing Else Heart.Break(), I barely know anything about programming but this game seems really neat and I like the idea that you can modify almost anything in the game world. It also has a really good soundtrack and atmosphere. Also really surprised at how much poo poo you can dump into things as text adventure games show up periodically and are around 500+ lines. The first thing I did was of course be an obnoxious jackass.

also having fun in mordor (though just in Shadow of Mordor 'cos it was cheap). I didn't expect to enjoy it as much but there's something compelling about running around killing captains. Haven't found too many nice snaps that don't involve brutal murder though

I did great typing words like "combustion" and "shelves" in Epistory - Typing Chronicles but these optional challenge areas can get a little hosed up.

Playing with Nvidia Ansel to take screenshots of my brutality in The Surge: Ansel is really cool, it lets you freeze the game and zoom the camera around in noclip mode to set up shots. Then it lets you take flawless ingame-render-quality screenshots at any resolution you like. And I mean any resolution, they let you go all the way up to 65,000 pixels, which would make a 30 GB image and take hours to process and be completely unusable in any way shape or form, but boy would it be high quality. It's also how the devs made all their promo screenshots for the game.

The new Hitman updates and content are really good. I killed a pair of cult leaders dressed as a clown in front of everyone and hopped the balcony, slid down, and then stole a waiter's outfit to exit the level.
