Thinking back on the anime, Tanaka-Kun has really great characters, so much so that pretty much the entire ancillary cast are better characters than Tanaka, and what prevented his gimmick from getting stale.

I'm just saying there's a reason someone might not want to commit to reading the thing. I mean, it's like the equivalent of a million page book. That's enough to scare away most people.

My health is super hosed up and I can't really afford to spend any more hours than I already do computing. I got back into watching anime in no small part because it's something you can do lying flat on your back moving not at all. I suppose I could watch a LP or something or play it with a buddy.
