This may not be the right thread for it, but whatever. I recently picked up a PS3 because I hate money and like the idea of collecting video games kind of. What are the PS3 games that either only available for the PS3 or otherwise not available for PS4 / Steam / easy emulation? So far I have listed: All Ratchet and Clanks God of War Collections Jak and Daxter collections Sly Cooper Collection Sly 4 Ico / Shadow Collection MGS Legacy Collection Demon Souls Katamari Forever Persona 4 Arena Ultimax Pain Fat Princess Catherine Zone of the Enders collection DMC collection What am I missing? Also what was that dog rolling poo game on PSN? DOKI DOKI BOY or something like that? I can't seem to find it.

I got some of my friends who have never owned a console to play it when it got released on steam and they had a blast.

RE5 has definitely aged worse than 4. I was one of the people that actually really liked it when it came out but it's pretty bad coming back to it. I still like it better than 6 but that isn't saying much.

Yeah RE4 loving owns, the controls aren't as refined as later games but as far a level, enemy and encounter designs so it's second to almost none. Verdugo is still probably one of my favourite bosses in any game for how stressful fighting it is.

Mr E posted:This may be the wrong thread but is the new COD multi any good if I want something like Black Ops 1/2 style? Subjectively I find most of the maps the same tired rehash of 3 lane crap. Spawns are horrible, on smaller maps the enemy can run around inside your spawn area and kill you before you even have a chance to react without them flipping. The killstreaks are boring or useless. LMGs are total poo poo in this game, they were great weapons in BO3/IW. Changes made to the class system are stupid and most of the menus are unintuitive and clunky. Having said all that if you prefer on the ground arena shooters there really isn't much else out there. I'd say redbox it for a weekend before buying.

RE5 is great. It sucks on ps4 compared to xbox, though because the second player can't do their own poo poo for no good reason. Like, in the xbox version, your inventory is tied to your player profile, and you can do all your own poo poo. On ps3/4, they don't access player 2's profile at all and it's just all player 1's profile. So even in coop you have to manage sheva's inventory stupidly. Like player 2 can't buy things or upgrade their own weapons, they have to unequip them so that player 1 can do it for them. It's beyond stupid. If my 360 disc wasn't missing, we would be playing it on that. RE6 is unplayable because there is a cutscene literally every 10 seconds so you can't even play the game.

Pablo Gigante posted:It's not that bad and I don't care that much about cutscenes, I just think the core gameplay is better But that's what I'm saying. I never build up any momentum in the game because every time I go through a door or walk down a hallway there's a 5 second cutscene. 5 is about exploring large arenas. 6 is some kind of heavily scripted handholding bullshit. I mean, i want to give it another shot, but my coop partner, who I've logged dozens of hours of RE5 with has sworn off it forever because the few hours we played of it were so lame. I've never gotten her to reconsider. I don't really blame her. It was really unengaging compared to RE5.
