Been logging on a little and trying to learn araxxi lately. I'm using scythe and keep getting hit by the melee attacks. I try to step back out of melee range but keep getting sucked back in while dealing with the mechanics or, worse, click on my bastard yak. Anyone got any tips? I can't afford ranged or mage gear as well.

I used to leave RS in the background whilst skilling and tabbing over whenever I heard the sounds stop. Fishing burnt me too bad at 93 though. At least I have 99 wcing.

Yeah I can understand why, over on RS3 I have some gold and poo poo whereas on OSRS I spent an hour of my Saturday night picking and spinning flax for money. What a life.

Either play like an ironman or just sell a bond for a starting fund. Don't make the game miserable for yourself, you really don't need cash until you've finished most quests.

I'm one guy and I'm down for a clan CC or something where I can talk to cool dudes or whatever. I made this mistake of joining the Reddit CC, my god... Good call on selling the bond by the way, I didn't realize they had those in OSRS so I've been happily smiling away efficiently since that was mentioned.

I went to start playing this again after a long hiatus and found that my account had been compromised and subsequently banned for macroing, along with the throwaway email I used for it being compromised as well. I got the accounts back under control and changed their passwords and such, and sent a ban appeal, but there was no option for me to enter anything about what happened and I've read a lot of reports that they don't unban compromised accounts. So basically I'm hosed and have to start from scratch if I wanna play again. Should I bother with new runescape or play OSRS?
