Thanks to credburn for using my dumb voice in The Spoony Bard's Aural Theatre. It's a super well-made pod and it must be crazy time-consuming. We gave it a shout out on the latest episode of... It's Just A Show Available on: RSS | Website | iTunes Social Media: Facebook | Twitter Genre: culture, comedy, puppets, fuppets. Release Schedule: Fortnightly and fortrightly! Goons: There's a Goon present in the record booth at all times. For safety. Description: Three friends (Adam, Beth, and Producer Chris...no, not The Bugle one) have started a podcast about that show where three silhouettes talk back to bad movies. Most recent episode: 13. He’s Just A Guy. (MST3K 904. Werewolf). Your hosts are torn over the quality of the Sci-Fi era as they analyze and overthink the show's riffs and sketches alongside Tony Zindarist's lycanthrope picture starring President Joe Estevez. Topics discussed on this episode include: -Pure Moods, Enya, and World Music -Navajo Skinwalkers -A film called HARDCASE AND FIST: NSFW trailer here -Rat Pfink A(nd) Boo Boo All this, plus 13 Fun Facts About Werewolf! Rocketship X-M) Next episode: Join us for the fun-filled fantasyland of Warrior Of The Lost World (MST3K 501) where America is crumbling and Fred Williamson covertly throws his support behind fascism and abusive tyrant Donald Pleasence. Ok. Well, at least Fred Williamson never endorsed Donald T... oh... I'm sorry, the next episode may be cancelled because that Fred Williamson clip made me sad.

The Spoony Bard's Aural Theatre What This Is Supposed to Be: A radio-drama-esque reenactment of FALLOUT using music and sound effects from the game and voicing dialogue as it was written when the game came out. Episode 10: The Master Here is the episode It took more than a month longer to get this finished than it should have. Sorry about that, those of you who listen to this. There's no real excuse for it; it takes a lot of work and a lot of real life stuff got in the way and you know, some other stuff and things. Anyway, this is the penultimate episode of the season: in two weeks (probably!) will come the final episode. In this one, Natalia and a small army head to the cathedral to get to the bottom of this cult and its connection to the Master and the mutants. And thanks again to all the goons who have contributed! I wish I was better at keeping up with this. I'm new at this; next time I will do better. But really, this project couldn't have existed without your help. The next thing we're doing is a smaller Warcraft one, and hopefully the Skies of Arcadia season will be about finished by the end of that, but between that and the next, or maybe before, maybe after, I'm going to do Soul Blazer. It's a pretty short SNES RPG. The thing is, there's only really two characters -- God ("The Master" -- unrelated to the Fallout episode) and the Narrator. Then there are like a thousand other characters, which include people, animals, plants, and even furniture, but they only have one or two lines. So if you're interested in voicing a loving lamp or some poo poo, let me know; that won't be for a while, but it'd be good to get your contact information for when I need to blitzkrieg you with last-minute requests for line readings. Hey everybody, I totally forgot to post the episode last week, so this is kind of a two-fer Tuesday. yee-haw! Episode #13 -- Scars of Dracula We always know we're in for a treat when the person writing the entry in the movie guide sounds like they'd rather be getting a root canal than talking about the movie in question. This episode is about the sixth out of the nine Dracula movies that Hammer released between the late fifties and mid-ish seventies, and hoo boy, is it ever apparent. Christopher Lee does the best he can with a forgettable script, and his efforts and the seriously terrible bat puppet are just about the only things that make this movie remotely worthwhile. Episode #14 -- Darkness Falls Not gonna lie, this was a rough couple of episodes. Darkness Falls is a horror movie from the early 2000's about a tooth fairy demon or some poo poo like that. It's quite bad. Saying much more than that would be dedicating more energy to it than it deserves. Social:

The mid-1800s were a time of global upheaval, that in China manifested as the deadliest civil war of all time, hastening the end of the Imperial dynasties. Millions died in battle. Millions were executed by armies. Millions more died due to man-made famine. How thin is the line between a silly cult, a tragic disaster, and a new dynasty?

Tara and Andrew Versus The Scarecrow Video Movie Guide Available on: iTunes / Google Play / Website / RSS Genre: Movie talk Duration: Around a half-hour, give or take Release: Every Tuesday What this? Seattle's Scarecrow Video is one of the longest-lasting independently run video stores in America, with over 120,000 different titles in their catalog, ranging from the mainstream to the incredibly eclectic and difficult to find. In this podcast my wife and I randomly select a movie that neither of us has seen before from the guide that they published back in 2004, watch it, do some research on it (when possible), and then discuss what we thought and learned. Episode #15 -- The Apartment It was inevitable that we would draw a romantic comedy sooner or later, and I think we were fortunate to get this one. Billy Wilder (from Some Like It Hot and Sunset Boulevard reknown, amongst others) directed and co-wrote this movie from 1960 which is described as a romantic comedy, but that's a descriptive term that I think would be tough to apply to it by today's understanding of what a romantic comedy is supposed to be. What can you do, though? Social:

The Secret Cinema Available on: Stitcher | RSS | Website | iTunes | Soundcloud Social Media: Facebook | Twitter Store: via Threadless Genre: film analysis, theory, and criticism Release Schedule: once every two weeks, on Friday Goons: just ol' china bot Description: Yet another lo-fi film discussion podcast, with the emphasis on discussion, featuring films that are obscure (Corn's-A-Poppin', Mondo New York), bizarre (Uzumaki, Phenomena), or just under-analyzed in general (Troop Beverly Hills, Wild Things). I have a degree in film and no success in the industry, my co-host/girlfriend is an artist, and each episode's guest is a strongly opinionated friend (if we can find one). I also open each episode with samples from the film being covered, to give some context for the discussion. Most recent episode: Episode #43 - The Minus Man Paolo and Carrie are joined again by Emily Neil to discuss Hampton Fancher's 1999 existential mystery The Minus Man. Topics include: what the hell this movie is about, literally flirting with death, and one of the greatest trailers in film history. Next episode: Cool Dog (2010) (Artwork by Carrie Chaffee)

Maybe a dumb q, but I like to leave podcasts on play while I am sleeping. Soundcloud is my jam because it autoplays the next track. But stuff like We Hate Movies or The Flophouse are really represented on there. Is there a service with similar functionality I am unaware of?
