Stellaris mod question: I’ve got an itch to play as the Galactic Empire and/or First Order. There are so many different Star Wars mods, which ones should I be subscribed and have enabled? The Star Trek one makes it really easy, just 2 or 3 enabled to get it working. The Star Wars ones seem more of a mess.

It appears to be this weird combination of twitch-based shooter (meaning you have to play a bunch to not suck at it) and grueling MMO (meaning you have to spend a lot of time to get anything done). Neither of those are conducive to someone with an actual life now. I wonder how many other people are in a similar situation to me, where excitement when the game was announced has turned to apathy at what it has become and how poorly suited it is to my life now. Sounds like you will need a custom solution to make it ergonomically correct for your height. Uplift desks only go so high but I have had success in merging their lift systems into custom desks at General Dynamics and some fine folks over at Oracle here in Northern Va. Let me know if I can be of assistance.
