YouTube is a loving cesspit when it comes to kids stuff. I'd recommend the ABC Kids iView app, you can probably figure out how to get it to work even if you're not in Australia

Here's a test you can run on your own: one of the most popular kids videos are Finger Family videos. Do a youtube search for 'finger family' and then just scroll down until you see something you definitely wouldn't want your niece to watch.
