At least they didn't put in achievements for some of the other things like beating G-Plated bosses or Labyrinth 2 dungeons or getting the actual final weapon or pet. I'll try and list those in chronological order. Marin 1, Rikki 1: Before you fight Arch Shelob, head out to Aurone Forgetower. The fairies will be hanging out at the entrance. Greyn 1, Colin 1, Hattie 1, Bianz 1, Joe 1: These are all available after beating Arch Shelob. Greyn will be in the museum, Colin should be at his house, Hattie ought to be outside the Panda Inn, Bianz will be in his pet store, and the fairies will be at the foot of Starry Peak. You need to talk to Greyn three times, and twice for all the others except Joe. Marin 2: After you beat Ephemeroga, talk to Rikki outside Secundum Mines. Rikki 2: After beating the Abyssal Flower, the fairies should be back outside Aurone Forgetower. You also need to go talk to Sephira at the church and again at Brandy Hill, in order to get Shester #3 later. Cless 2: After Fafnir and the ensuing brouhaha, he'll be outside Secundum Mines. Talk to him twice. You might also need to go talk to the fairies at Ordium Shrine to get all their notes later. Joe 2: After your first fight against Zahar, the fairies will be at Crystal Valley. Talk to Rikki. Yasaku 1, Daigoro 1, Sarasa 2, Akane 2: On your first visit to Starfall Hamlet, talk to Yasaku three times in front of his house, Sarasa three times in front of the bathhouse, and the ninja at the cliffside to the right of Tenzan's house twice. Kai 2: After you talk to everyone in Starfall and the sun sets, talk to the ninja to the left of Tenzan's house twice. Shester 3: If you talked to Sephira enough before, he should be at Brandy Hill after you beat Galgarion. Ruri 3, Rikki 3, Joe 3: Beat Lucian, then talk to Ruri three times in the Panda Inn and talk to each of the fairies outside Gloomgeld Woods. I don't know if it makes a difference, but a Zwei 2 guide says to make sure to speak to the hot springs (Sarasa) person once you hit 50k steps so that she can confirm the whole opening of the place once you hit 60k. I don't know what would happen if you skipped this step.

For Zwei 2, it took a while to figure out that the red x's that show up again in dungeons where you already found all the treasures mean you have to use the Level Plate on them to find them again.

Estelle's hair gets more out of control in every new picture I see. All the NG+ stuff in Zwei II has waaaay too much health. I almost managed to beat the Survival Challenge, especially since I figured out by accident that a jump-strike will cancel most of Gallandeau's moves, but apparently the Service Penguin can just automatically grab you if you try to shoot her while she's resting at low health? What the gently caress. I'm guessing you get the new pet & anchor gear from that and the new model collection, but what about those other three new items? I cleared twenty floors of the earth II labyrinth but it gave me jack squat.

New Pet is from survival, new Anchor Gear is from collecting all the new "extra" models from the vending machine. Keep in mind the new model capsules, you can get repeats so it involves a lot of money and just repeatedly buying capsules until you're lucky enough to get ones you haven't gotten yet. Other three items are armor pieces that come together to form a new armor and look for Alwen. Each new Labyrinth (Labyrinth II) has to be cleared and each one has 40 floors. Each clear will give you an armor piece. There's also a new armor for Ragna but you have to beat ALL of the bosses using the G-Plate in the casino. The full list of people you need to visit is: Yasaku, Theo, Helena, Bianz, Huang, Sarasa, Baram, Lotte, the faceless ninja to the right of Tenzan's house, Chief Wyzen, Vermilia, Cless, Karasu. You have to keep spamming at the springs with Ragna until your partner eventually decides to make a trip in at the same time. And yeah, the story one counts. If you skip the 50k marker, you're still fine. Had near 70k near the midpoint of Luna Mundus, so it wasn't too hard.

Are they literally backporting the PC version or are they simply implementing some of the bells and whistles that were in the port? Upping the framerate, raising the resolution and improving the existing fast-forward feature would take one heck of a lot less time than rewriting the whole renderer again in an API the PS4 can deal with.
