I had lasik today!  As soon as I got home. Fat, ugly, and whacked on pills.  Lasik damage and a wildly unflattering photo (and hawks nails!!)  Still looking like an old troll, but a better pic none the less. #nomakeup #nofilter

The surgery was like 10 min, they don’t use a razor to cut your eye flap, I had a laser do that too so I was really excited for that. You know how when you press on your eyes, it fades out your vision? That’s what happened with the equipment and they covered the eye they weren’t working on so I didn’t see a thing that was happening. When it came time for the reconstructive part, your cornea is flapped open so you can’t see anything but blotches of light. There is a burning smell. And for like 7 hours after surgery your eyes hurt like hell. But I didn’t feel a thing during. You go home and take a very long drug induced nap, and with every hour that passes your eyes feel better. Totally worth it! And thanks y’all for the compliments I know I’m rough on myself, it’s hard to turn off
