"Simple Recipe" with a many ingredients, including "stock (see page 5)," which presumably requires its own cooking process.

I also assumed the recipe one had to do with Nekonaughey being Japanese and the recipe being in English with ingredients that maybe aren't so easily available in Japan.

That was my take, basically an exact inversion of what happens when you pick up a Japanese recipe book.

Gotta say, he looks like someone who writes way cooler stuff than sappy preachy Nancy and country music.

If you think this makes for an interesting story hook, you should read Planetary. The technology is there, but the Fantastic Four are hoarding it for themselves.

I was making an assumption based on the timing of the reruns, but it looks like new ones are back, so I guess I was wrong. I'm a little surprised with all that's going on that this wasn't a bigger deal to the syndicate.

They may be genuinely unaware of it. The "Muppet Feminist" Twitter account just started, it has only 60 followers, it tags in Universal when Gilchrist's syndicate is Andrews McMeel, and there doesn't seem to be any news coverage. That tweet only has 20-something RTs. The person with the biggest following that's talking about it is...me, I guess.

Coincidentally, Andrew McMeel's contact us page is right here.

quote:

Radiation surveys showed that American machines delivered an average of 13 roentgen (r) (roughly 0.13 sievert (Sv) of equivalent dose in modern units) to the customer's feet during a typical 20 second viewing, with one capable of delivering 116 r (~1 Sv) in 20 seconds.[5] British Pedoscopes were about ten times less powerful.[6] A customer might try several shoes in a day, or return several times in a year, and radiation dose effects may be cumulative.[6] A dose of 300 r can cause growth disturbance in a child,[5] and 600 r can cause erythema in an adult. Hands and feet are relatively resistant to other forms of radiation damage, such as carcinogenesis.
