Pass protection was mostly good and Alex is just a chode. Had around 5 seconds a lot of the time and was tap dancing around over a 3 man rush. At some point we have to just acknowledge the QB sucks rear end.  I think the last month has turned me back to PB mode about Alex, again. Get him the gently caress off the field. The Raiders offense is the biggest problem with the team but the defense hasn't been great for years. I can't blame all of that on Norton since he isn't the one drafting players like Calhoun and Ward who can't get on the field or a secondary that can't stay healthy but if someone needs to go I'm not shocked it's Norton.

I think in retrospect the Raiders were really playing over their heads last season and had a ton of lucky breaks go their way. They still need to plug a lot of holes on the roster and consider replacing players who have not stepped up, and a few who have regressed.

Yeah, I can blame Norton for lovely schemes and never making any adjustments. Blaming RM is silly, not every draft pick is going to be a starter.
