If you've stopped reading Oglaf for whatever reason, now's probably not a good time to get into it. Unless I guess you find the graphic depiction of an eye being gouged out by a penis arousing.

It's weird that the reader knows that Little Claire did an arson once, but the Mystery Kids don't.

Cat Mattress posted:I'm gonna pimp a webcomic called Snow by Night because I find it cute. Basically it's Adventures in Fantasy Quebec. Art starts a bit mediocre with some elements of manga influence like bird hair in the first few chapters, but they eventually go away and it ends up looking pretty nice. I just read the archives on this, and it really grew on me. And what a time to catch up! I've never read a comic with a colonial Americas setting before, but it uses the period well. Although I find the decision to come up with fantasy names for places like Britain/France/Netherlands while leaving in all the trappings of what they are a little baffling.

I'm gonna 3rd the recommendation for this one. The archive binge may be a bit intimidating, but it's got a good world and fun characters to populate it and I really quite enjoyed it.

The Boy is pretty good at making major and poorly-thought-out life choices entirely off screen, including that time he got fat, that time he got buff, and now, a beard and the only name worse than Eustace. Wait, so did he not tell his parents he's alive again?

Pretty much everything that happens to him since dumping Esther is weird to me and seems to be happening to a different character than the one I enjoyed reading about in SGR. (So was dumping Esther.)
