Blues Brothers 2000 is certainly not a good movie but I also don't think it deserves the extreme hate it gets. It's just sort of a run of the mill "let's do the first movie again but worse" sequel that at least has good music throughout.

I went to see Tom Of Finland the other night (which was great by the way, go see it) and when I got to the theater there was a group of about 10-12 old ladies that looked like what you'd find in a box marked "cute grannies". I was so excited about it because I thought they were seeing Tom of Finland but then it turned out that they were just coming out of the last movie that played (it's a small one screen art house) and chatting. This is probably one of the top ten disappointments of my entire life. That said, the audience was almost entirely gay men and there were several leather men. At one point there was a comment in the movie about straight people being bullied and harassed and the entire room burst into laughter except for the few straights. It was glorious.
