I used to go double AR a lot, I barely ever used the other gun anyways unless I had a 4x or an 8x to slap on my AK. Now I don't have to worry about having a gently caress ton of both 5.56 and 7.62 ammo to juggle when I'm looting, which is when I seem most likely to get shot at when I'm not expecting it.

Use it like a super uzi. Reasonable rate of fire and better damage per round than the 5.56 ARs, but with a unreasonable amount of recoil, and pathetic muzzle velocity. Don't try to snipe with it unless it's your only option. Throw that 4x on another rifle.

S12k with an extended clip is lots of fun to use and the only shotgun I'd keep, mostly for house invasions. It fires a lot, quickly. Although it does seem to lack a bit in door penetration.

I can't decide on the AK. One game it's the best non-crate full auto gun and the next I can't hit poo poo with it. It's also annoying having to carry around a lot of 7.62 unless your long range gun is also 7.62.

The former is ideological-only while the latter is highly practical, putting every low-income gamer at a disadvantage. Pay-2-cheat in PUBG on foreign servers would be the unfortunate fallout.

I got a chicken dinner last night where I had 8 kills by spraying the AKM. gently caress the UMP, the AK is way better at full auto spraying at close range. I never pulled out my Mini14 once that game. It tore through so many level 3 helms, I could sense the ragequits from the dead players.

Googling "is there good loot on the starting island", I found widely varying results depending on when people checked. I decided to go there on the current test version. TLDR: No, not good loot. So I did a little boat trip and here is the result. * one Tommy Gun * a few handguns * one UMP * smokes galore (I'm not kidding, it's like they replaced the warmup island's rifles with smoke grenades or something.) No health items, no armor, no scopes or other attachments. In short, island sucks. Here is a question, if your view distance is set to very low you won't see trees in the distance but will see players, so my question is if you see a player on a mountain that should have trees on it and you start shooting him from across the map will your bullets ignore the trees that aren't rendering on your end or will they hit invisible trees?

When I first started playing duos my friend and I would go out to spawn island and it was pretty decent most of the time. Usually nothing amazing, but you could get decently kitted out while being fairly confident no one was going to sneak up on you. IIRC a few of the teams in that first major tournament went out there successfully as well. The biggest risk was that someone would steal or destroy your boat and leave you stranded out there to likely die from the circle unless you had a rare northeast center. Apparently it was throwing off the loot distribution though which is why they nerfed it. From what I've seen, semi-autos are preferred, i.e. the m16 and the sks. The dude with the m4 that killed me had the instagib thing that was popular for a week or so then, which makes me suspect he didn't really care which rifle he used.

wasn't the prevailing thought that the vast majority of hackers were in TPP because that was the default selection for leader boards? I also exclusively play fpp solo/duos and only saw a hacker once ever in duos around 3 or 4 am PST

A ahk or logitech script will only work with 1 gun ie on mouse click {cursor down 15 pixels} where 15 pixels is the vertical recoil of a specific gun. This is what goons like pokkerguy use and try to justify as not real cheating An aimbot will be more sophisticated and calculate deviation from a point and correct it on the fly.

Question to the tryhard players here: if this game had an api or a way to collect stats and data beyond what is already available, what metrics or info do you think would be most effective at helping you improve your winrates? For example, a graph of all your drop locations and death locations. Have you guys wanted to know stuff like that or think it would be useful?
