See? This just proves my point. If he'd gingerly picked the spider up with a piece of paper or something and then put it outside he wouldn't have orphaned all those poor baby-bugs.

Casually posting videos of people killing living creatures that people on that very page indicated they have affection for is a lovely thing to do. An irrational fear of harmless animals doesn't excuse a lack of basic empathy, no matter how icky some people find them. Just requesting people not post spiders would have been reasonable.

Some of us live in countries with very lethal spiders. To the point we banned an episode of a children's cartoon about how friendly spiders are because that WILL get some poor kid killed.

I would expect anyone who lives in funnelweb territory to have done due diligence. For anyone else it's just trivia. I linked them because they're genuinely a bit alarming looking. It's just that only one of them is dangerous.

This is is a Norris post! My Norris is a little over 12 years old now. He's still my baby.  He's my caretaker when I'm ill.  He watches over me when I sleep!  He constantly makes me smile.  He's a constant companion, too.  Really constant.  He thinks I'm his girlfriend, but he still makes time for his lady friends.  Thanks for looking. Happy holidays~!
